Hajime

Terms of use

Last updated 7 October 2026

These terms describe use of Hajime at gethajime.com. For questions about the service or your account, contact hello@gethajime.com.

Beta service

Hajime is a beta run by one person in Western Australia. It is provided as is, without warranty, with no guarantee that it will be available or that every reminder will be delivered. Please keep your own copies of anything important.

Who can use Hajime

You must be 18 or older to use Hajime. Access is by invitation while the beta runs.

Your planner and account

Hajime is a personal productivity tool. You choose your priorities, dates and actions, and remain responsible for checking important information. Keep account credentials secure and use only accounts and information you are entitled to access.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you enter or upload. You give Hajime permission to store, process and transmit that content as needed to provide the features you use, including optional backups and connections you enable. Do not upload content that infringes others' rights or use the service for unlawful activity, unauthorized access or disruption.

Optional connections

Google Drive, Google Calendar and assistant connections are optional and depend on the permissions you approve and the availability of their providers. Their terms and privacy controls also apply. You can disconnect services, but copies already created in another service may remain there. The privacy policy explains these connections and data controls in more detail.

Availability and important information

Features can change, and outages, sync delays or missed notifications can occur. Keep independent copies of important information and verify deadlines and reminders. Hajime is not an emergency service or a substitute for professional advice. It does not promise uninterrupted availability or delivery of every reminder.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Hajime is not liable for losses that come from using it or not being able to use it, including a missed reminder, a late sync or lost data. The Australian Consumer Law guarantees, and any other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, still apply where they do.

Suspension and ending the beta

Hajime may suspend or end the beta, or suspend or close an account that abuses the service, for example by attacking it or breaking these terms. Export your planner data from Settings regularly so you always have a copy.

Leaving the service and changes

You can stop using Hajime, export planner data from Settings and revoke connected services. You can delete your account yourself in Settings, or contact support. Changes to these terms are posted on this page with a new date at the top; if you keep using Hajime after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Questions or concerns: hello@gethajime.com.
